This is an aluminium/fibreglass/aluminium lead-replacement flashing ... (Dutch company Reppel makes it and it's sold in the UK by CDI Northern Distribution) They're sending a sample but could do with hearing about other people's experiences
Thanks Daryl, it's grown on me since the sample arrived. Spoken to an interesting guy Chris Holt who's a "Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor " at Ian Larnach Associates, who got in touch after I enquired about the technical side of Lacomet FL, which is distributed in the UK for Reppel by CDI Northern Distribution. It's equivalent to code 4, weighs about a 16th, can be laid up to 10 metres ... just need to find out from them how best to bond it to make up seams for flashing ...
Leadmate works.......or any similar lead-friendly sealant. Don't think there is much in the CfSH with it though...? unless you are using an awful lot of it ...?
