    Probably 25 years, not 100% sure if it is fitted on a workshop if that has the same return rate or the same FIT rate, others know about this better than me.
    As for 'roof for rent' schemes, would you buy a car but not own the tyres, ever?

    Too good to be true ?- depends on your frame of reference.
    Personally I would say it's both immoral and probably short-lived.
