After the finish of our EWI project we have got some insulation adhesive spare, 13 times 20kg bags of JUB base coat adhesive. This was used for Kingspan phenolic wall boards.
Also 10 times 20kg bags of base coat render JUB EPS.
I am open to offers for these and will split, but probably means collection from Shrewsbury.

Hi chippyclaus. I am about to do some EWI but I'm too far away from you :( Can I ask how you have so much left over? Only I don't want to end up in the same boat - Were you badly advised about quantities?

The rendering company, who advised me on the insulation fixing details suggested adhesive and mechanical fixings for the boards. After starting off using both methods I got talking to 'nigel', who lives locally and told me that he didn't use adhesive for same type of boards on his house. I also got the impression that the adhesive had a levelling function to get the surface of the boards nice and flat since the render is minimally thin. Since I was fitting them to a flat (concrete panelled) surface, I reckoned I didn't need to use the adhesive.
The company didn't want to take the surplus back. The extra bags of render base coat are due to a second delivery, which was over-estimated, but couldn't be returned.
