    anyone had any problems wit buzzing noises from solar inverters? or from electronic equipment in the same house as one?

    My inverters make a quiet buzz. No problems for/from anything else plugged in to our mains over the years though.

    nor mine either but a friend is concerned about possible of non perfect sine wave interferences

    inverters have come on a long way since the says of the modified sine wave inverters that'd cause nasty hums through any musical kit.

    Modern inverters have to have a small THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) which should cover such issues, though I do note that the current flows seem to be odd enough to thoroughly confuse clip-on energy monitors:

    In principle someone is welcome to come round and plug their equipment into my house mains briefly to make sure that it doesn't get upset. B^>

    I live off grid, and found that if my mains wires came too close the phone line I got lots of noise, and no ADSL.
    Just keep mains/12V/phone cables apart!
