    Very interesting debate on dealers/resllers not telling the full story with C F Wind Turbines. Namely 10 year warranty, dropping to 5 years, wind speed classification and servicing costs...and mcs debate.

    Extract:

    Class 1 turbines have been designed to with stand average winds of upto 10m/s on a site over the year.
    Class 2 turbines have been designed to with stand average winds of upto 8.5m/s.on a site over the year.
    Class 3 turbines have been designed to with stand average winds of 7.5m/s and below on a site over the year. (all off the internet)

    I managed to get a copy of a C&F manual in fact I still have it here. It is on page 7 of the operators manual. Class 3 definitely for all turbines.
