I have discovered that a Care Home that have some responsibility for has Zero insulation in some of its roof space. As any savings in energy go straight to the bottom line we are keen to insulate but I have just been quoted a price of £10 per sq m for 150mm of Isover Spacesaver (laid in the space). This is a rip off but does anyone have experience of commercial insulation jobs and if so what is the going rate?

I realise that but I can still buy the stuff for £3.70 per sq m. I just don't think laying loft insulation is worth £6.30 per sq m.

You are correct. I misread the quote as they were putting on 100 and then 150 at right angles. Not such a bad price after all.
