why CSH? why not Minergie or Passivehaus ot BREAM or LEED even?
I didnt bother with any certificates, do the certificates make a difference and they cost plenty as you are about to find out, will you live in it or sell it.
Our firm has an Accredited Assessor and we are familiar with all of the technologies proposed, including the earth pipes. I'll PM you a quotation tomorrow after I have spoken to him. Has your landscape plan been drawn up by a professional recognised by BRE? You will need every credit you can get for Code Level 6. Regards Gary
resubmit and go code 4-5 if really must. -I am part way through CSH code 5 build. Its expensive. To get get to code 6 is really really hard, thats why we backed off and negotiated with District council, they agreed to: if i dont manage code 5, to discuss what green technologies have been used. Will be an insurance policy if dont meet code 5. (although i am hitting code 6 so far on points) To to try and put you off some more (you will thank us later) i have had up to 15 seperate consultants for the build for separate reason. Water consultants, ecologists etc etc.
