			<![CDATA[Tony, if they replace fluorescents with more fluorescents or LEDs, they won't save electricity/carbon/money.<br /><br />Is that really what they were hoping? Or do they need replacing anyway, for looks or for emergency lighting? <br /><br />Electricity is dramatically less carbon-intensive than it was even a few years ago, so there's less environmental benefits now from scrapping and replacing existing fittings. Just avoid halogen downlighters.]]>

LEDs can approach the efficiency of a T5 fitting.]]>
