    Any of you guys had any experience of this product at all?

    Someone I know is considering this as an alternative to gabions for retaining walls as it's more natural and will allow planting and greenery to establish. It also looks cheaper than gabions as far as I can see (less fill costs & potentially quicker to build)...

    Reminds me a bit of something that I think I recall being researched at Leeds Uni Civ Eng department back in the late 70s / early 80's. IIRC that involved trying to use old tyres and seat belt webbing as the basis for a form of earth retaining wall (recycle - reuse has been around for quite a while!)?
