    Probably not, nor is it that relevant as this the way they are used, joined to other materials that is so much more important

    My feeling---and I have no expertise---it that it's not what you have but what you do with it, eg polythene sheet is only a airtight as the last idle plumber who didn't hack a foot-square hole in it to make an exit for a small pipe...
