General: Compacfoam - anyone used it?

On another thread, @davidfreeborough suggested Compacfoam as a cavity closer. Has anyone actually used this material?

The online information is nor very clear, but it appears that these closers consist of an inner and outer PVC profile with the Compacfoam just pushed in to create a variable width cavity closer. Is that it? Seems remarkable that it would take the weight. There is also no mention of the thickness of the Compacfoam used.

I'll call Cavalok tomorrow but any experience?
