Heating and cooling: How do I find out if a village has a gas supply?

    I'm moving soon to a new village about an hours drive away and the house I'm buying does not have a gas supply and gthe person I'm buying off does not know if there is gas in the village. Is there a web site I can check?

    Phone national grid new supplies and ask them whether you can get one.
