Hi,

I may have to do part of my renovation using IWI due to possible objections from neighbours. It may not be an issue but I'm trying to plan and cost for the different scenarios.
I've been reading through various threads and articles again and I'm wondering if the consensus is that going better than 0.50W/m2K is likely to lead to problems in the long term. Every time I read the Breaking the Mould articles I always get worried about using any form of IWI.

Regards,

Martin

Construction is a mix. Front wall is cavity, side and back use 225mm hollow blocks. See the diagram at http://www.buildinglifeconsultancy.com/2010/09/hollow-blocks-vertical-air-flow-within-the-linked-hollows/ for an idea of the currrent wall build up.
