    Isover (Saint gobain) has pipped everyone at the post with the launch of their new document. It's all about passivhaus and how they can meet it and help any builder build houses to pasivhaus standards. It is packed, and I mean packed with just about every conceivable design detail.

    I suggest that anyone interested in passivhaus standards and details order a copy now (it should be free) phone 0115 945 1050. I cannot find it on their website and I may just have a press copy but you can ask.

    I tell a lie. the very next morning a giant of a book has arrived for review called 'Details for passive Houses' published by Springer but this one will be very much not free. Just about all the details in the Isover book match those in this Springer Book only the springer book is 350 pages or thereabouts.

    Amazon.co.uk are selling it for £71. but the description is in German or Austrian as s half of the book. I'll put some sort of fuller review in the spring edition of GBM.
