The original wallpaper has been removed exposing the original lime/chalk plaster.

Can probably get away with filling in some areas and just painting, any particular filler to use?

The areas that aren't too great could do with skimming. Haven't had a problem using pva and gypsum plaster overskim in the rest of the house in the 6 years since it was done. What would you recommend as over skim?

I have had very good results with Gtec smart mix ready mixed in tubs used it on my previous house which was lime plastered and gone powdery. Good as filler and as a skim coat. Sands really well.

TBH, I'd feel more inclined to answer if I thought you'd even tried to answer it yourself before asking me to spend my time answering you.
Not sure what your query is?

You've asked 'lime/chalk plaster?' I'm asking is there a brand name or similar for this? My plasterer has only ever used modern plasters....
