I haven't heard of any change yet... how about you?

I'm hoping for some kind of improved incentive/funding for heat pumps, or VAT changes for retrofit.

Heat recovery, air tightness and the ventilation needed for high levels of insulation all seem to be getting overlooked. Doesn't seem to be any talk of insulation discounts either.

The only thing I've heard is that the "Clean Heat Market Mechanism" (CHMM) may be brought back next year.

The heat pump 1m rule is being scrapped in Jan 2026 so heat pumps within 1m of someone else's land won't need planning permission. Helpful. Hardly a dramatic change though.

This is the latest news I've heard. It would be good if A2A HP were included in the BUS.
