I have been awol for some years but I see my old account still works! :-)

Last I heard GBF was looking likely to close down. What happened?
Fortunately I was through the worst of my previous build (roughly 2009-2013) before that happened but I had found the old forum really helpful and I missed it after.

Really pleased to have re-found it. I shall lurk a while and see how it looks these days.
I am now wondering who of the old-gang are still on here?

    Taken over by the AECB
  1.
Lots of 'oldies' still 'here'. Welcome back. See the thread "Forum Transferring to AECB" (just search 'AECB') for more info on the change. AECB tech people have ensured the current s/ware does not 'fall over', and further changes will probably happen in future, AIUI.
  2.
Finally able to get back in and can post! I used to be Jeff B and now Jeff B 2025, but am the same person (honest guv!). I was not able to post under my original user name.

I have been able to follow all the threads but unable to reply, very frustrating. Thanks to Samantha at AECB I am able to rejoin!
  3.
Welcome back! Is the Jeff B 2025 an upgrade on the basic Jeff B?!
  4.
I reckon its a retrofit of the as-built Jeff B.
