Posted By: Jeff B 2025The company that fitted our new solar PV system used what I can only describe as a kind of "hybrid scaffolding" - part tower, part interlocking horizontal bars.
Any chance you have a photo?

    No, sorry.

It was Cuplock apparently. Details here:

I have been starting to tidy up after our construction and I have some scaffolding for sale.
It is Kwickstage and have enough for 2 x 48' x 16' towers with extras such as base jacks to make more and smaller
towers 1 and 2 board stage brackets. I have condemmmed some of the timber boards replaced some with galvanised batons and so about 8 short of full cover. I am in Anglesey. Contact me if of interest.

Revor: I'm not sure if your post is specifically directed at me or not, but thanks for the offer anyway. Now that I have opted for a "conventional" solar PV system (i.e. no more roof top microinverters) I trust that we should never again need to access the roof, as I do not anticipate the PV panels failing (hopefully not famous last words!) and hence will have no need for scaffolding.

Update: I have had a chap around who is interested in my old PV panels for possible use in a ground array.

No it was a general post as scaffold had been dicussed on this thread and I happened to be sorting my stuff out at long last as needed the space in the shed to cut my logs for winter fuel.
