Not heard of Kinetic switches - EDALD.

Any links, brands to look at?
  1.
    This is the original brand

    https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Manufacturers/Quinetic/index.html

But there are now many cheaper alternatives at Screwfix Amazon eBay etc etc

Edit to add: IKEA are now doing RGBW bulbs packaged with a remote on/off/dim/tone switch for £12, that's hard for anything that needs fixed wiring to beat, including the kinetic stuff. The switch uses AAA batteries.

Thinking about how many button-presses a TV remote has to transmit each day, versus how many times a light gets switched - that's how the battery powered light switches can last for a very long time on a single battery.

Further edit: Borpin is expert here: I understand that WiFi switch systems have to use power to keep themselves connected to WiFi whereas the new stuff (inc the IKEA) uses the Matter/Thread system and less frequent transmissions to stay connected. The kinetic stuff uses RF 433mhz and only transmits when pushed. Can you expand on this?

    EDALD?

    "AI Overview
    Based on the search results,
eDALD stands for Entropy-Augmented DALD (Diffusion-Driven Active Learning with Diversity), a two-stage active learning technique used for low-budget semantic segmentation. "
  2.
Every day's a learning day, even for the "ai overview"!
  3.
Although that description doesn’t seem too far off to me…

What is it? I don't watch videos much, and Tewke's website seems to be information free, so I'm a bit stumped.

From the transcript, it seems he got a bit over-excited when he saw CO2 and humidity spikes, but was there anything else?

Try this, starts with fitting wireless switch. It is more than a wireless switch. Think he may have been sponsored to promote Tewke TAP.

Think you need deep pockets to invest in a system.
