General: Where has 'search' gone?

    I cannot remember where the 'search' function used to lurk, but I found it and used it countless times before. I looked today and it does not appear on the 'front page'. A search via Google suggested 'greenbuildingforum.co.uk/newforum/search.php and that seems to work, but I am sure I did not have to 'hunt it down' in the past. Mods, can you shed any light?

    Sounds like my experience, now fixed - they had me down as Moderator (kindly nominated by Keith as his last act!); once that was cance;;ed I had Search agaim. But that's not your case (?) - it should be found beneath 'Green Building Forum' at top, where there's four buttons, one f them Search

    Hi FT, yes, location is (should be!) as you state, but mine isn't. I just have the blue-background 'Green Building Forum' 'banner', below that this :

    AECB mods, can you help?

    AHHH! Bizarrely it only disappears when I am signed in! I signed out and the search button is there below the 'banner' as ever.

    I was a 'nominated moderator' (unbeknown to me!) for a while but again had that cancelled. It's definitely down to my signing in...

    Where do you see that? I don't believe I've ever seen it!

    It's in a sort of 'advertising banner' space and contains 'key words', presumably aimed to be clicked on. I cannot replicate the 'font' (words in 'bubbles') but it comes in between the first 4 lines (below) and the thread title (I note as I type this that another set of 'key words' appears below the 'back to discussions' tab at the *bottom* of the page) :

    I have had a play with some settings, you should now be able to see the Search again.

    Yippee! Thanks AECB Admin! I can now see the 'Search' button (and others) when I am signed in. :bigsmile:
