    Hi everyone

I am looking into ASHP and solar panels for the house I moved into recently. I need a feasibility survey and want to find a trustworthy surveyor and tradespeople. I am currently with Octopus Energy for gas and electricity supply, so I started there, but have had this weird experience where they kept not showing up for initial phone discussion appointments made with them. Three times - with no explanation from the survey department or their customer services. I have no faith that Octopus will be able to do the job if they can't even get this far.

So I'm looking for trustworthy and reliable alternatives in the Havant, Hampshire area. Does anyone have experience of someone like that in this area, please?

    Many thanks,
    L036

Look for a local Heat Geek engineer for your heat pump. They may well know a reputable solar installer??

My daughter has just had Octopus install their heat pump and is very impressed by the pre and post sales service as well as the team that did the install

Hi philedge. OK, I'll try Heat Geek. Thank you.

I am frankly a bit dumbfounded about Octopus. My impression of the company before this was very good. But I couldn't get the work off the ground, due to the repeated broken appointments (and no explanations apart from 'technical issues' for the first broken appointment).

Heat Geek only install Vaillant, I think. So it depends on whether you're happy with that choice.
