    Yes, I really want that chugging away in my living room.
    There was a bit about it on the radio a month ago or so.
    Interesting to know who would be legally responsible for illegal content under our new rules.

    I do like the lateral thinking though.

    You'd hope not the householder, as the thing is an encrypted black box. I could be porn, it could be kittens, it could self destruct if opened like some sort of e-schrodinger's cat and no one would ever know. I can see there being a few barriers that compensation would need to overcome (eg ISP takes he hump with the massive data use over and above a normal res connection, but pass them some cash and they might shut up.)but overall, it's quite a grand idea.. I take it the electricity is subsidised.. Or is it like running a kilowatt fire, but I have to pay for all the electricity and not get as much heat out as running a kilowatt fire?
