Please does anyone have any good ideas for a ceiling option in a clay plastered, exposed round timber framed/straw building. Rafters @ 400mm centres with sheepswool in between....Would like not to have to plaster at all as it's a high curvy ceiling.

Thank you - we knew about timber boarding but were concerned it may be too heavy. We have enormous beams and alot of rafters to support a living roof so were wary about adding too much more weight. Any thoughts on a light weight solution?
Thanks Terry for the Fermacell lead - we are looking at that too.

Timber wouldn't necessarily be heavier than plaster board.... and both miniscule compared to the floor and roof loads...
