Hi people, I am looking at CfSH courses to take and i see the only 3 companies that offer assessor training is BRE, Stroma and Sustainable Homes. The Stroma one is the cheapest, yet the BRE and Sustainable Homes ones allow time between the training and the exam (the Stroma one the exam is on the third day). Is this 2/3 week gap necessary? Has anyone else tried these courses, and does the Stroma one lack anything? Anyone got any suggestions on which is the best/most comprehensive etc course to take. I would be very grateful. You can whisper me if you'd like. Cheers guys

unless you are already working with a qualifed CfSH assessor on code assessments and you yourself are very familar with the code and the calculators I would not recommend undertaking a course which does not allow you to defer the exam for some months. I was advised by well experienced code assessors to wait six months before attempting the exam. incidently i undertook the BRE course, which was very good.
